What is the Zoom API?

The Zoom API lets you easily interact with well-known Zoom's web conferencing software as well as their other products, including Chat and Rooms. Schedule a new meeting, invite a contact and dozens of other endpoints are available for countless usage.

How to get a Zoom API Key?

  1. Sign in to the Zoom Developer Website
  2. In the header, select "Build App" and choose the OAuth type
  3. Fill your application information
  4. Retrieve your developer keys clientId/clientSecret
  5. Select the scopes you want to use in the "Scope" section
  6. That's it!

Zoom API Rate Limits

Most endpoints of the Zoom API have a rate limit of 10 requests per second. In case your application hits the limit, the API will reply with a 429 error response (more information).
